My writing has been published in the Malahat Review, the Antigonish Review, carte blancheHamilton Arts & Letters and elsewhere. My story “Foreign Bodies” won the Malahat Review‘s 2017 Open Season Award and was their nominee for the 2018 Journey Prize. My story “Tag” was long-listed for Room Magazine’s 2018 Fiction Contest.

I completed the Humber School for Writers correspondence program in 2011 under the mentorship of John Metcalf and was awarded a Quebec Writers’ Federation mentorship in 2016.

I hold a B.A. in French from Trent University, a B.Ed. from Queen’s and an M.A. in French literature from Dalhousie. After more than a decade teaching elementary and high school, I made the transition to writing full time. I am currently working on a novel set in her hometown of Guelph, Ontario.
